From our Software Engineering Centers in Latin America, Avantica Technologies engineers are experienced with development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, RUP, Lean, XP and TDD.
Over 15 years and nearly 1,600 successful software product releases for our customers, however, Agile is the preferred methodology. Our software engineers are highly skilled in Distributed Agile: co-developing collaboratively with our software customers in an Agile engineering environment distributed over different geographies.
Because our engineers are in the same time-zone as our North America software customers; work together in Avantica’s software engineering centers in Costa Rica and Peru; and have access to state-of-the-art communications infrastructure; real-time customer collaboration, fast product iteration and rapid time-to-market are to be expected. Culturally, Avantica’s engineers are Western oriented, cross-functional and self-organizing.
Agile Tools:
Avantica engineers seamlessly integrate with our customer’s North America-based internal development team. Using tools such as JIRA GreenHopper, Crucible, Rally and Pivotal to support backlog management, sprint planning and team tracking, Avantica efficiently manages project progress against plan. The decision on what Agile project management tool to use is made by our customers.
Our English speaking software engineers are in your time-zone. They are experienced. We hire only the best engineers from the top 10 universities in Costa Rica and Peru. Many have years of experience post-university and are individually expert in multiple platforms – such as iOS and Android, or PHP and Rails.
Incremental Engineering:
Avantica’s engineers are deeply experienced with a Scrum-based environment emphasizing incremental development.
